Dollars & Sense

Most parents admit they’re reluctant to talk to their kids about financial matters.

There's often a disconnect regarding where students should be learning about finances. Parents think they are learning about it at school, while schools believe those conversations are happening at home. That’s why H&R Block is working with parents, teachers and teens to give young people the knowledge they need to manage their money.

We launched H&R Block Dollars & Sense in 2009 to arm America’s youth with the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed financially. We give teachers and parents the tools they need to engage students in personal finance because we believe that investing in a financially fit next generation is an investment in everyone’s future.
